Grossmont College Honors Program

Our Purpose ...

The Honors Experience at Grossmont College is driven by the college’s vision of “Student Success through Educational Excellence." Honors programming at Grossmont is committed to foster the spirit of academic excellence through student and faculty dedication to scholarly endeavors. The Honors Program is one of the many ways in which Grossmont College provides educational leadership through learning opportunities that anticipate, prepare for, and meet the future challenges of a complex democratic and a global society.

As an Honors student you will have the opportunity to

  • engage in research with supervising faculty.
  • official transcript indicates "Honors" course (great for your application!)
  • present a talk or poster at the HTTC Student Research Conference for California Community Colleges. 
  • publish a paper based on your work.
