You will learn from expert faculty like Professor Don Ridgway, coordinator of the vascular specialty, who has taught and worked in the vascular sonography field since 1985. The fourth edition of his Introduction to Vascular Scanning was published in 2010. He also authored Vascular Anatomy & Physiology, a textbook for students preparing for a career in vascular sonography.
Our program produces graduates who are in high demand by some of the country’s premier hospitals, such as the Mayo Clinic. According to PayScale, as of January 2010, the average annual salary of cardiovascular technicians with less than one year of experience was $32,500 to $62,000.
