Certain schools have pre-arranged agreements (also called articulation agreements) to accept Grossmont students as transfer applicants. Each agreement is unique, just as your preparation for continuing your education is unique. Turn to the University Transfer Center for complete information, counseling, advice, and a plan to prepare for a successful transfer.
Even if you’re not sure about pursuing a bachelor’s degree, it’s not too early to stop by the University Transfer Center for advice, to take a workshop, or to learn more about general education requirements.
Here are just a few of the many routes Grossmont students take to a bachelor’s degree program:
The Associate of Arts, University Transfer Studies is a degree program designed for students who plan to transfer to the California State University or University of California system.
The SDSU TAG is an agreement between SDSU and local community colleges (including Grossmont and Cuyamaca) that gives priority admission to students who have completed 100% of their 60 transferable units at a local college if they fulfill specific requirements.
If you are or were a high school student in the Grossmont Union School District, you may be eligible for University Link, a program to help students meet their goal to enroll at UCSD.
The Honors Program at Grossmont College has a number of transfer agreements through the Honors Transfer Council of California. These agreements may provide priority admission, guaranteed admission into your next school’s honor program, or other benefits, and cover honors students transferring to Cal Poly, Loyola Marymount, Mills, Pomona PATH, and San Jose State, among others.
The University Transfer Center has complete information and will gladly answer questions, get you started, and let you know about upcoming deadlines or opportunities.
