Grossmont students show up for more than classes. More than 30 chartered clubs offer Grossmont students a chance to practice another language, play games, create performance events, study with students on the same career path, or meet with others who share a faith, life challenges, or social goals.
The student government, the Associated Students of Grossmont College, represents students in campus and community affairs, provides student leadership opportunities, and encourages and supports student efforts to expand and enrich campus life.
Student voices get heard everywhere: Communication students produce The Summit, a campus newspaper. Others run Griffin Radio. There are opportunities to perform in theatre, dance, and music across campus. Student government organizes a Spirit Week and a Fall Festival. Writers on campus organized Rock the Page, an all-day write-a-thon.
