Grossmont College accepts credit only from institutions accredited by one of the six regional accrediting associations.
Veterans receiving benefits must submit all transcripts from previous colleges.
Take the English/Reading/Math assessment, which is recommended for students who plan to take an English or math class, or to enter a degree, certificate or transfer program. Students who have completed an English and math class at another college may have the assessment waived by presenting transcripts to the Counseling Center. All new students are encouraged to evaluate their present skill levels by taking this assessment. Information from the assessment is used to assist students in appropriate course selection. The assessment is not used to bar admission to Grossmont College.
