Question 8

Step 1
Pick four point on the circle that are roughly equally apart from each other.

Step 2
Draw a circular arc centered at anyone dot (e.g. the lower left dot). The radius should be more than the radius of the given circle.

Step 3
Use the same radius to draw an arc centered on the opposite dot.
Make sure that these two blue arcs intersect each other as indicated.

Step 4
Draw a line connecting the intersecting points of the two blue arcs.

Step 5
Use the same radius (i.e. do not change the setting on the compass) to draw an arc centered at the third dot.

Repeat the same process for the last arc centered at the 4th dot.

Step 6
Draw a line connecting the intersection points of the two green arcs.
The intersection of the two black lines will be the exact (if you have done every step precisely) center of the circle.
