Use these flashcards to help your students practice on their own addition and subtraction with integers. Copy the pages (back to back) onto cardstock. Give each of your students the page and have them cut out their own flashcards, shuffle them, and practice at home. You can also print the cards onto an overhead and “flash” them up quickly for the first 2 or 3 minutes of class to see how they are doing. Remind your students that in order to become proficient at integer arithmetic, they must practice.
