Because this 100% online course uses the Blackboard Learning System, there is NO face-to-face meeting on campus. These pages are designed to get you started and make using Blackboard easy.
There are 4 steps you need to take to get started. Steps 1, 2, and 3 can be done right now. Step 4 is taken once the Blackboard container for this course opens at the beginning of the semester.
Even though you cannot access the course container in Blackboard before the semester begins, you can still log on to the Blackboard system soon -- one day after you have registered as a student.
The e-mail address that Blackboard has for you may or may not be the one you normally use. Blackboard gets this information from WebAdvisor, the Grossmont registration system. In order to receive important class information on time, you must be sure your e-mail is up to date within WebAdvisor (and thus Blackboard).
