Scott McGann began his academic endeavors here at Grossmont then transferred to San Diego State University where he earned a BA in Economics, Cum Laude, with Distinction in the Major; MA in Economics; MS in Business Administration; and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning. In addition to being a full-time Associate Professor here at Grossmont, Scott works as a Economics Lecturer at his Alma Mater San Diego State University. Scott brings extensive real-world business experience to the classroom having worked in multi-unit restaurant management, real estate brokerage, and financial planning. He currently holds a CA real estate brokerage license and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He also serves on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Center for Economic Education.
