Join the International Club! International students who have moved far away from families and friends can sometimes feel lonely, especially during the first year of college. The International Club can help by providing opportunities throughout the school year to meet and make friends with international and American students.
The purpose of the club is to "provide a forum for the interaction of American and international students; to promote cultural enhancement of all students through social, cultural, and educational events and activities; and to assist new students in adapting to college life." College coffee hours, picnics, receptions, participation in college and city events, and visits to local attractions, museums, and state parks are just a few of the activities that help the International Club achieve this goal.
