Driving
NOTE: Visitor parking is available at the meters in front of the main administration building or in student parking lots using a one-day parking permit available from the permit machines located in all parking lots. One-day parking permits are $2.
Interstate 8
From Interstate 8, East or West, take Highway 125 North to the Grossmont College Drive exit. Turn right at the first stop light (Grossmont College Drive). Go across the bridge to the second traffic signal. Go straight onto the Grossmont College perimeter road.
Highway 94
From Highway 94 East, take Highway 125 North to the Grossmont College Drive exit. Turn right at the first stop light (Grossmont College Drive). Go across the bridge to the second traffic signal. Go straight onto the Grossmont College perimeter road.
Highway 52
From Highway 52 East, take Highway 125 South to the Grossmont College Drive exit. Turn right at the first stop light (Grossmont College Drive). Go straight onto the Grossmont College perimeter road.
Using public transportation
Grossmont College is available to MTS Bus Route 854, by which connections can be made from other bus routes and from the San Diego Trolley System. More information about routes and timetables is available from the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System website.
Using a bicycle
Bicycle riders should investigate surface streets with bicycle lanes and official bicycle routes before journeying to the campus. Bicycle racks are conveniently located near all major campus entry points.
Grossmont College campus values the health and safety of its community and, for our disabled students, employees and visitors, is accessible to wheelchairs and other ambulatory aides considered to be medically necessary. Skateboards, bicycles, roller skates, roller blades and other wheel-operated devices not recognized to be ambulatory aides are strictly forbidden anywhere on the campus walkways.
Unlicensed alcoholic beverages are also forbidden and may not be brought onto the campus during the festival events. As of Jan. 1, 2009, Grossmont College has become a smoking-free and tobacco-free environment. Smoking and chewing tobacco are not permitted anywhere on the Grossmont College campus.
