American Collegiate English (ACE) is a non-credit, pre-college program on the Grossmont College campus. ACE provides intermediate-level English instruction to international students who wish to improve their English skills in order to attend a U.S. college or university. Since 1992, ACE has prepared thousands of students for entry into Grossmont College and other prestigious institutions of higher learning.
2+2=4 ! Grossmont College is a two-year public institution. Students choose to earn certificates or Associate Degrees in over 100 different fields of study, and to transfer to a university to complete a four-year Bachelor Degree after studying at Grossmont for two years.
ACE is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA). See the ACE accreditation page for details. ACE is also a member of EnglishUSA, the American Association for Intensive English Programs (AAIEP).
