Be aware of your surroundings and use your cell to call campus police to report a crime or a campus disruption (e.g. physical fights, shouting arguments, etc.). Please plug this phone number in as a speed-dial option.
Emergency Alert Boxes are located by the parking structure elevators and in most parking lots. If you see something suspicious or feel in danger, press the blue button on the call box for campus police help. These boxes will pick up voices up to 300 feet away.
Please use the buddy-system when walking to your car at night. GCCCD Campus Police and DSP&S encourage calling campus police to escort you to your vehicle at night! This service is available during the day as well.
